Combining Science and Art to Create Exceptional Smiles with Teeth, Porcelain and Implants

Course Objectives:
The many choices in creating restorations that mimic nature can make it difficult for the conscientious dentist to develop systems in practice that reliably and predictably produce world class results. This 2 ½ day seminar will review the concepts of nature that direct the choices in materials, design, and functional considerations that every dentist must make daily. It will also give you an outline for collaboration with the laboratory that insures the technician sees what you see and can consistently produce the results you envisioned.

• Facial evaluation - how the face alters esthetic planning.
• The five key esthetic factors that must be addressed in planning.
• The role of photography in diagnosis and in treatment planning
• How to recognize occlusal issues at the examination
• The role occlusion plays in modifying the form of teeth.
• How to determine if periodontics and/or orthodontics is a necessary part of the plan.
• How to plan for missing teeth using bridgework and implants.
• Selecting the right materials for each restorative solution, including implant restorations.
• The four steps in presenting the plan.
• Preparation design using full coverage, veneers, and implants.
• Temporization of Crowns, Veneers, and implants.
• Communicating your vision of the finished restorations with the laboratory.
• Cementation and finishing for a naturally beautiful result.
