Prerequisites: Facially Generated Treatment Planning and Occlusion in Clinical Practice Workshops
Do you look at patients who have destroyed their teeth through wear and wonder what happened? Do you have trouble visualizing what their teeth used to look like? Does your stomach tighten up when a patient with extreme wear says "YES" to your treatment plan?
This workshop focuses on observation, diagnosis, etiology, and appropriate treatment for wear patients. Discussion topics include occlusal design customized to increase predictability and making the decision between anterior guidance and group function. The discussions are blended with exercises that let participants ground their learning in DOING by "treating" selected wear patients on mounted casts.
