Prerequisites: Facially Generated Treatment Planning and Occlusion in Clinical Practice Workshops
Does it seem like ending appliance therapy is harder than starting it? Do you wonder when to use an anterior bite plan or a full arch appliance? What about a posterior pivot? If designing, fabricating and inserting appliances is a system you'd like to streamline, Advanced Occlusion is your solution.
This course builds on the concepts from Occlusion in Clinical Practice through discussion and exercises using the anterior and posterior determinants of occlusion in resolving functional occlusal problems. Diagnosis of temporomandibular disorders and differential application of appliance therapy in a restorative practice will help participants draw the line regarding what they choose to treat or refer.
